Ovaj zlo?in nije slu?ajan i nije sporadi?an.
Svjedoci smo svakodnevnih napada na državu BiH, napada na istinu, pravdu, kulturu sje?anja, negiranje genocida, falsifikata i kvaziistraživanja, nagra?ivanja zlo?inaca, izjedna?avanja agresora i žrtve, minimiziranja zlo?ina genocida, izjedna?avanje žrtava genocida i žrtava ratnih zlo?ina.
To radimo zbog istine i pravde, zbog kulture pam?enja.
IGC: Crime at Kori?anske Stijene Marked as Genocidal Intent
On August 21, 1992, at the Kori?anske Stijene site, 200 men, prisoners held in the Prijedor camps of Bosniaks and Croats, who were brought to this location, were executed. To this day, numerous victims are still being sought, and the identification processes of the discovered remains have not been completed.
The Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGK) reminds that 12 people survived the crime at Kori?anske Stijene, and their testimonies have contributed to genocide researchers considering this horrific crime as genocidal intent.
"The essence of genocidal intent is that by undertaking one or more prescribed acts of execution contained in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the integrity of members of a protected group is violated or endangered, and a special or ultimate intent is achieved, which is the complete or partial destruction of the group. In the case of the crime at Kori?anske Stijene, the object of the attack was the protected Bosniak and Croatian ethnic group, not man as an individual. The intent to destroy the Bosniak and Croatian group, in whole or in part, presupposes that the victims were selected because of their membership in the group towards which the intent is directed. The crime against civilians at Kori?anske Stijene was carried out in accordance with the Greater Serbian ideology, policy, genocidal intent, and a war of conquest for territories, for living space, for the seizure of Bosnian land, for the ethnic cleansing of the city of Prijedor.
Genocide science treats this deliberate extermination of innocent prisoners as one of the strongest pieces of evidence of genocide in Prijedor. It is a collective crime both in terms of the execution of the crime and in terms of the concealment of the crime. The crime was committed by the intervention platoon of the Republika Srpska police from Prijedor on the orders of the Crisis Staff of Prijedor Municipality as part of a joint criminal enterprise of the then political, military, and police establishment of the city of Prijedor with the ultimate goal of ethnic cleansing of Prijedor of Bosniaks and Croats. This crime is not accidental and not sporadic. This crime is one in a series of crimes committed in the execution of the crime of genocide with the aim of creating a Greater Serbia by destroying the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and destroying primarily its most numerous people, the Bosniaks. The crime at Kori?anske Stijene is particularly characterized by the collective concealment of the crime and the collective concealment of the graves where the bodies of the prisoners were hidden. The relocation of the bodies was carried out by members of the Prijedor police and Civil Protection from Skender Vakuf. In the immediate vicinity of the execution site, there is a populated place whose residents knew about and heard of the extermination. According to the testimonies of survivors, they even saw locals descending into the ravine and shooting at the prisoners. In an attempt to conceal the crime, the bodies were burned, and after the locals 'complained' that birds were scattering body parts on the roofs of their houses, in yet another 'cleaning' of the terrain, the Civil Protection from Skender Vakuf was involved, moving the bodies of the prisoners to another location, a location they still do not want to reveal today. All victims of this massacre have still not been found. The bodies of the killed prisoners were transferred and buried at other sites, as evidenced by recordings of the Public Security Service of Prijedor made on September 4, 1992.
Bearing in mind that this is a collective crime in terms of execution and concealment, a crime with intent, as part of a joint criminal enterprise to create a Greater Serbia, genocide science considers that there is genocidal intent on the part of the perpetrators in the case of the crime at Kori?anske Stijene. Therefore, it is a crime of genocide, not a crime against humanity. The specificity of genocide as a crime is its special intent, the desire to physically destroy a national, ethnic, religious, or other group, or a significant part of it, precisely because it is that particular group. In the case of the crime at Kori?anske Stijene, it is clear that there is genocidal intent.
Genocide researchers are primarily and exclusively interested in scientific truth, which is reached through a specific scientific procedure, with strict application of logical and methodological rules of procedure, using a valid and reliable scientific research project and scientific research methods that ensure objective, true knowledge.
We are witnesses to daily attacks on the state of BiH, attacks on truth, justice, the culture of remembrance, denial of genocide, falsifications and quasi-research, rewarding criminals, equating the aggressor and the victim, minimizing the crime of genocide, equating victims of genocide and victims of war crimes.
The only effective way to fight against deniers of genocide is through knowledge. We do this for the sake of truth and justice, for the sake of the culture of memory. But we do not hate anyone. The fact is that genocide occurred in Prijedor. The fact is that Bosniaks were the majority people in Prijedor. The fact is that Bosniaks and Croats are also the owners of the city of Prijedor. And that ownership is inherited. It is not obtained by force, and especially not by genocide.
We remember the crime against more than 200 innocent civilians. We remember that such genocidal acts never happen again to anyone. The amount of evil committed by the criminal mind was deliberately done to permanently disable the functioning of the state of BiH. The sick mind went for the strongest card, which was genocide, which was supposed to force Bosniaks and Croats to give up the common city of Prijedor, the common state in the name of the division of BiH. However, the victims defended themselves and preserved both the city of Prijedor and the state of BiH. Instead of fleeing the common state of BiH, instead of collectively preserving the foundations of the entity of Republika Srpska, Bosnian Serbs should accept the state of BiH, by accepting the truth and justice," states the IGK.
For the crime at Kori?anske Stijene, before the ICTY and the Court of BiH, the following were sentenced: Darko Mr?a to 17 years in prison, Damir Ivankovi? to 14 years, Gordan ?uri? to 8 years, Ljubiša ?eti? to 13 years, Zoran Babi? to 22 years, Milorad Škrbi? to 21 years, Dušan Jankovi? to 21 years, Željko Stojni? to 15 years, Saša Ze?evi? to 23 years, Marinko Lepoja to 23, and Radoslav Kneževi? to 23 years in prison.
