Meeting of Nations: Seattle Welcomes Bosnia and Herzegovina which will take place on June 23, 2026,

in Seattle, Washington, as part of the activities surrounding the participation of the Bosnia and

Herzegovina National Team during the FIFA World Cup.

The event is being organized by the Congress of Bosniaks of North America in collaboration with the

Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in D.C., the Bosnian-American community of the Pacific Northwest,

the City of Seattle, and partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora.

Several thousand attendees are expected from across the United States, Canada, Bosnia and

Herzegovina, and the broader region, making this one of the largest gatherings of the Bosnian and

Herzegovinian diaspora in North America during the World Cup.

The program will include an official ceremonial portion featuring remarks from community

representatives and dignitaries, followed by a cultural celebration dedicated to unity, heritage, sport,

and community connection.

It would be a tremendous honor for us if you would join us for this historic occasion and help elevate the

significance of the event through your presence and participation.

Your longstanding work through the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada in preserving truth,

historical memory, and the dignity of Bosnia and Herzegovina has had a profound impact on our
